BoardCompanions is an association intended to professionalize the functioning of the boards of social profit organizations (SPO). Its action takes place mainly within the boards of SPO by discreetly being an actor of change.

For the first time last month, BoardCompanions organized a training day for some of its members. It was a great opportunity to share experiences, remember good practices, and support each other in making governance in the social sector more effective.

How to reconcile purpose and performance? How to measure the impact of social action? What are the role and responsibilities of a board member? How to effectively manage a board meeting?

Thanks to Erik Weytjens, Patrick Ceulemans, Jean-Charles Uyttenhove and Xavier Bedoret, the facilitators of this learning session hosted by the King Baudouin Foundation.
